Oisín has very healthy drive to work for people he is bonded with and is easily motivated. He is currently entering his full adolescence and is a bit more difficult to work, but is generally a fun and happy dog without the sharper temperament traits of his sire.

Oisín takes his name from the folkloric Irish hero. A poet and a warrior, Oisín is known for his loyalty to his friends and family and his sense of justice - even turning on and turning in his own father when he felt Fionn had done wrong. I wanted a strong and balanced name and found it in this figure.
Out of 2019 Cúchulainn x Reiko litter. Oisín currently exhibits an incredible work ethic, focus, and enthusiasm that I hoped to retain from his father while also being a softer dog, which I believe he takes from his mother. This combination of ability and enthusiasm to work while being somewhat more docile than his sire has landed Oisín as a candidate for psychiatric service work.
The evaluation and training is extensive and it may be decided that he is no suitable as he matures, but he is currently being trained as a SD/iT with tasks that include grounding and deep pressure therapy. The majority of the focus in his training at this time (being only 4 months) is exposure, engagement, and obedience.
