Yuki (Akiyama no Roushya Kokuchou go) is available for rehome. She is currently becoming combative with female dogs in her current home, and it may be best if she is placed in a home with no other dogs, or a confident male dog as a companion.
Yuki is out of my Cuchulainn x Nami litter earlier last summer, and has the energy and drive to match her heritage. My suggestion is that she will need basic obedience to help her bond with her new owner, and help boost her confidence in a new situation. She is currently UTD on her vaccinations, recently went to the vet for an ear infection, and is sweet with people on outings, if not a little slow to warm up (and perhaps, sometimes, a bit vocal toward new things!)
My hope is to find a home in the PNW that will consider co-ownership for Yuki. I am happy to place her with the right, approved home anywhere up to a 12 hour drive from Portland, Oregon. Closer, however, is certainly better. I may consider further away for the right candidate. This way, Yuki will be able to remain part of my kennel and be able to be later evaluated as a potential breeding dog to keep the North American Kishu genepool as diverse as we can.
If I cannot find an appropriate co-own home for Yuki, she can be placed as a pet, to be spayed when she becomes an appropriate age. If Yuki is placed as a pet, she can go anywhere, though I would prefer she stay in North America.
