Nami - PLanned for Fall 2017
I have a litter planned out of Nami, my sesame girl, for later this year. I have a choice of three potential sires for this litter, including my younger red male, Cuchulainn (who is my ideal pick for her, if not for his young age.) The next is my sesame male, Toutarou (which will be a linebreeding-- repeating ancestors like Goma no Ichihime and Manzan go). Finally, an unrelated white import not in my kennel. I am reviewing all aspects of these pairs-- known ancestry, health, and what each combination may provide its offspring-- before I make my final decision.
Nami will go in for her vet visit to predict ovulation/timing soon so I can get a better idea of when this litter will be conceived.
Zushu no Tarou go x Oosaka no Sekihime go (May 28th, 2014)
Nami's first litter and a happy surprise, we welcomed five white pups - four boys and a girl - into the world on May 28th, 2014. We had just as many heartbreaking experiences with this litter as we had heartwarming ones. At three weeks, despite the best efforts of the best medical care and tireless work, we lost Seidou and Suzuishi to inhalation pneumonia.
Kurogane lives in Washington as a hiking companion. Shirogane has gone to live with friends at Hakuzan Kennel in Colorado, and Kaneko has stayed with us as "Fionna."
Gomataro go x Kaneko go (April 3rd, 2017)
Fionna gave birth to 5 large pups on April 3rd, 2017. All pups from this litter are currently spoken for. Updates to come.
